Long Knots
This is the EASIEST hairstyle I know! There are no elastics or clips needed. Part the hair as shown and take the first section and divide it into two pieces.
Treat these two pieces like shoelaces and wrap them around like you would with the first step in tying your shoes.
Now twist both those ends around one more time and then pull tight. If you do this while the hair is wet it will hold and dry tightly.
Just let the extra hair hang down to the sides and you're set to go!

Dutch Braids
These are called "Dutch Braids", "Reverse Braids" or "Inverted Braids". I call the Dutch Braids because I'm Dutch and I like the name. :)
First, part the hair and make two sections.
Basically you are going to do the same thing as a French Braid but you're going to have you're fingers braiding opposite of what they normally would do. i.e. if you're going over then under, you will instead go under then over. I hope that makes sense.
I had just finished making these Boutique Bows so I was excited to have a hairstyle that she could wear them with.
The plan was to weave some thin ribbon through the braids but we ran out of time before church so that will have to wait until another time. :)
The "Quad"
The "Quad" has always been a ski lift at Brighton to me so it's strange to have a hairstyle with the same name.
Part your hair however you like and pull each section up into a ponytail.
Now you're going to divide the ponytail into 4 equal parts instead of 3 parts. Here's where it gets confusing so I'm just going to say to watch any tutorials on YouTube.
You might notice a little glitter in her hair and it's simple spray glitter found in the craft section at Wal-Mart. It hardly shows up in the picture but it's the greatest stuff and it washes out with regular shampoo.
She looked great for her dance performance and she was VERY sparkly!
Waterfall Braid
This one is a bit more tricky but it's so pretty and worth learning.
You start just like you do a normal French Braid but as you go through each "cycle" of the braid you'll want to drop the bottom section out and just grab a new portion of hair to braid in.
We did this on both sides and then combined the two braids in the back and added a flower clip.
Hopefully that makes a bit of sense, this is a confusing one to learn but it gets much easier with practice.
Triple Twists to Buns
Begin this style by parting the hair and creating two sections.
At the top of each section, create three equal parts for your twists.
The twists are made by starting and the part and gradually adding hair into the twist as you make your way down.
Combine the twist and the rest of the hair in each section into Messy Buns.
Give it a quick spray with hairspray and this style will hold all day long.
Indian Braids
I used to wear Indian Braids when I was a little girl and it's probably one of the easiest and quickest hairstyles.
Simply part the hair however you like and separate into two sections.
Now just section a side into three parts and begin braiding without using an elastic to start.
Repeat this with the other half and you have a super quick and easy hairdo.
